Stop For Diabetes "Alert Day"
By Mike Boyle
The 22nd Annual American Diabetes Association (ADA) "Alert Day" is happening on Tuesday, March 23rd. On this day the ADA will be asking the American public: "What will you do to Stop Diabetes? Know your risk."
As part of the ADA`s "Stop Diabetes" movement, the goal of "Alert Day" is to reach out to the undiagnosed population with life-saving information about type 2 diabetes risk and prevention.
If you are concerned that a family member, friend or colleague (or even yourself) are at risk for type 2 diabetes, DiabetesCare.net suggests you point them in the direction of the ADA`s free "Diabetes Risk Test." Access it here.
