Also I would like to get the best advice for my mom's neuropatia, she shakes continuoslly her arm, can't hold steady a glass of water or anything, needs to hold with both hands a glass; she starts with the right hand and now has the same with the left hand; her doctor prescribe her the Lyrica but it doesn't help her; Lyrica only help her to don't feel the pain in her legs . Hello, Please discuss the use of Splenda or other sweeteners with your physician. On our site we have the following information about Splenda and sweeteners to give you information; 1. http://www.diabetescare.net/article/title/study-results-add-to-evidence-that-splenda-is-safe-for-people-with-diabetes 2. http://www.diabetescare.net/article/title/the-facts-about-sugar-sugar-substitutes 3. http://www.diabetescare.net/article/title/continued-debate-on-impact-of-artificial-sweeteners I would advise you seek advice from a specialist concerning your mother. Ask your mother's physician if the best doctor for her to see would be a neurologist. Hopefully the doctor can help determine the cause of her tremors and advise her on an appropriate treatment plan. Please let us know how you make out. Clara Schneider MS,RD,RN,CDE,LDN
