Post prandial sugar level lower than fasting level. - Posted by Anonymous
My fasting sugar level is 100 -105 mg/dl whereas after eating or post prandial it is 80-90 mg/dl. What does this mean and do I need any treatment. Please advice.

Your fasting blood glucose falls within the values for pre-diabetes. I would suggest you go to your doctor and ask if you should have labs drawn so this could be confirmed. You should also ask if you need to reduce your weight. Ask if you have any exercise restrictions and what would be the best exercises for you to take part in. Please let us know how you make out.
