I have had 4 blood glucose tests in the last 3 months which have been 8.3, 9.6, 10.2 and 7.4 and they have also on occasion been high in the past eg at the beginning of this year and middle of last year. As it was 7.4 last Thursday (the 10.2 was 2 weeks previously)I have been told I am diabetic I am borderline so nothing is going to be done for 3 months not even advice on diet and yet I feel terrible with many of the symptoms of diabetes eg tingling fingers, cold sweats, light headed. broken nights due to needing to go to the loo. The light headedness is so bad and so prolonged that I have not been able to drive for the last 4 weeks which is a big problem for me as I have mobility problems due to polio. How can I have all these problems continuosly when 2 weeks ago I had a 10.2 result and last Friday I was just into the diabetic range. Surely I should be feeliong better if the number has gone down.
