I've read that dehydration is common in people with type 2 diabetes. What can I do to try to avoid this, besides drinking a lot of water?
The solution is simple--drink water! You might want to track your intake--aim for 64 oz a day. Dehydration ocurs when blood sugars are very high and the person is urinating a lot.
