I am an insulin dependent type 1 diabetic, I have excess weight around my waist, hips, mid and lower back and stomach. The rest of my body is fine, what are the best workouts to do for this to get rid of the weight. I'm only five feet tall, I do workout, but have been told many times that because I am on insulin I will never get rid of that weight in this area, I don't believe this I think I will have to work harder and probably will always have some weight around my mid section which I am ok with, but I want this excess weight that makes it hard to walk and gives me pain in my hips and back gone! I am pretty active, I have strong legs and arms, but all my weight goes to this area emoticon
