Summary

The blush in this fantastic hot spiced cider comes from cranberry juice cocktail. Spiced with cloves, allspice berries and cinnamon. Delicious! This beverage will keep your insides warm all fall and winter long.

What you'll need

  • 1 qt apple cider
  • 6 med whole cloves
  • 6 med allspice berries
  • 1 cup low calorie cranberry juice cocktail
  • 3 med sticks of cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp. measurable sweetener
  • 6 med orange slices, at room temperature

Instructions

  • Step 1
    In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except the orange slices. Heat to a simmer; reduce heat and simmer 20 more minutes. Cool one hour. Remove spices. Place orange slices in serving cups. Strain cider into cups. Serve hot.
