Dutch process cocoa is the absolute best to use in this recipe! Add a little Splenda, hot water and 1 percent milk and walah! Delicious and rich hot chocolate.

What you'll need

  • 1 tbsp. unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder (like Hershey`s)
  • 1 tbsp. Splenda (plus 2-teaspoons)
  • 2 tbsp. hot water
  • 1 cup 1-percent milk

Instructions

  • Step 1
    Place the cocoa powder and Splenda into a microwaveable mug.
  • Step 2
    Add the hot water and stir until smooth. Pour in the milk and stir again.
  • Step 3
    Microwave on high for 1-1/2 minutes or until hot. (Do not boil.)
