What you'll need

  • 2 lb boneless round steak (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 med onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained (4 ounce)
  • 1 can no-salt-added tomato sauce (8 ounce)
  • 1 pkg. hot cooked noodles

Instructions

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325-degrees.
  • Step 2
    Trim beef; cut into serving-size pieces. Place in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with pepper. Top with onion, mushrooms and tomato sauce.
  • Step 3
    Cover and bake for 1-3/4 to two hours or until meat is tender. Serve over noodles.
