Summary
This sauce provides a healthier and tastier alternative to pancake syrup. It's also wonderful using blueberries! (NOTE: used fresh peaches in the analysis)
What you'll need
2 tsp.cornstarch
3/4 cupfresh or canned peaches
2 tbsp.honey
2 tsp.lemon juice
Instructions
Step 1 Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water in a saucepan, stirring until smooth.
Step 2 Add another 6 tablespoons water, peaches and honey. Mix, crushing some of the peaches with the back of the spoon.
Step 3 Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat.
