Insulin pump use on vacation

I would like to know if there is a substitute to bolusing for each thing I put in my mouth. When I am on vacation I wouldn't want to do that

I understand from your question that you are on insulin pump. The insulin pump unlike an insulin pen has the ability to change bolus and basal insulin through different profiles. When you are eating a buffet meal or when you are in a party while you are on vacation, you can create a temporary basal profile for a specific number of hours instead of blousing for every food that you eat in a specific period of time. Consult with your provider on what is the appropriate increase in basal insulin for that specific time. You can program your pump to go back to the original basal rate after several hours.
