What you'll need
3 smallgarlic cloves, minced or pressed
1 tbsp.plus 1 teaspoon olive oil
1 lbgreen beans, washed and trimmed
1/4 cupfiltered water
1 tbsp.plus 1 teaspoon tamari
2 tsp.raw honey
Instructions
Step 1 In a large skillet, saute the garlic in olive oil over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
Step 2 Add the green beans, water, tamari, and honey, and cook over medium-low heat until beans are soft but still slightly crispy. If the water evaporates too quickly, keep adding water by the tablespoon-just enough to keep the beans steaming.
Step 3 SUBSTITUTIONS: You can use this same recipe for asparagus and many other vegetables.
