Quick cooking oatmeal with orange juice, oat bran and granualted sugar replacement and fructose sweetening without the use of cane sugar.

What you'll need

  • 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 cup uncooked oat bran
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar replacement
  • 1/3 cup granulated fructose
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 med eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract


  • Step 1
    Soak oatmeal in orange juice in a large bowl for at least 15 minutes. Combine the next six ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the remaining ingredients into the oatmeal mixture. Add oat-bran mixture and stir to mix. Turn into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 425-degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool.
