Healthy bell peppers stuffed with lean ground beef mixed with sloppy joe seasoning and tomato sauce. Delicious.

What you'll need

  • 4 med bell peppers
  • 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. sloppy joe seasoning mix
  • 1 cup tomato sauce (no salt)


  • Step 1
    In nonstick skillet brown meat. Drain off remaining fat from pan.
  • Step 2
    Add sloppy joe mix and tomato sauce. Simmer for five minutes.
  • Step 3
    Fill peppers with meat mixture and place in baking pan.
  • Step 4
    Pour 1/8-inch water in baking pan around bell peppers. Cover with foil and bake at 350-degrees for 25 minutes.
